About me
I am a CSIC Tenured Scientist at the Instituto
de Física de Cantabria (IFCA), a joint institution supported
by the Spanish
National Research Council (CSIC) and the
Universidad de Cantabria (UC).
I belong to the Observational
Cosmology and Instrumentation Group
within the Astrophysics Department.
My most important research issue is the analysis of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB), including, mainly, the component separation problem, non-Gaussianity and anisotropy studies, and the determination of cosmological parameters. I'm also interested on the joint analysis of the CMB and the Large Scale Structure (LSS) of the Universe.
As a part of my research, I am also very interested in the development of new data analysis methods, specially those based on wavelets.
