Hotel in Barcelona (Sept 1st)
For those of you arrivng on Sept. 1st, we have negotiated an attractive rate in
Hotel 4 Barcelona
for the night of Sept. 1st
(80 EUR for an individual room, 90 EUR for a double room, 15 EUR suppl.
for kid less than 12 years, and 30 EUR suppl. for kid older than 12 yr.).
In this hotel there will be also a registration desk for the conference participants
although the registration can be done as well on site at the cruise on Sept. 2nd.

Boarding/Disembarking
Boarding will take place on Sept. 2nd between 2 pm and 4 pm. A registration desk for the
conference participants will be located near the check-in desk of the cruise.
Disembarking will take place on Sept. 9th between 11 am and 12 pm. Please take this
information into account when planning your trip.

The ship in the centre of the image is the actual MSC Divina docked in the Barcelona port (Muelle Adosado).
Additional Packages
Additional packages (beverages,internet,excursions,...) may be purchased directly with the
cruise company at the time of checking on Sept. 2nd but we will shortly provide the
option to purchase these packages at a reduced cost through our
travel agent.
Excursions
Excursions can be purchased (at a discount) through our
travel agent.
Please contact our agents at Viajes El Corte Ingles if you are interested in
booking some excursion. A list of planned excursions can be found
HERE.
Alternatively you can plan some of trips on your own for instance taking a fast ferry (45 min)
to the beautifil islands of Capri or Ischia from Naples or a train to Florence or Rome.
For some of these destinations it is reccomened to purchase tickets online in advance before
they get sold out.
We will organize a trip to Vernazza (one of the towns in Cinque Terre). The estimated cost (per person)
will be 10 EUR and we will collect the money at the cruise.

Things to pack
The ship accepts standard European plugs so don't forget to pack an adapter if you are coming
from a non European region.
